They say it all started with a big-bang. We certainly did as we made our entrance in the industry by debuting high-definition digital audio. We introduced our first DAC, the Odéon-m1, with support for 24bits/96KHz high-definition digital audio format, just recently made available by pioneers Classic Records and Chesky Records. We also exhibited our first amplifier, the Pleyel-250. Thanks to our integrated volume control in the DAC, there was no need for a pre-amplifier, reducing the number of components to just one transport, one DAC and one stereo amplifier. That with the outstanding Avant-Garde Acoustic horn speakers, our sound raised eyebrows and astonishment - even if we say so ourselves!
