It's only been a few months since our debug at Hi-Fi 1998, and we continue to push for 24bits/96KHz high-definition digital audio at this CES 1999. For this show, we paired with Vince Christian manufacturer of very open sounding speakers. There are a few more DVD Audio titles available by now but still not that many. One that we used a lot is that of Dave's True Story, a very engaging and humorous band from New York, who happened to be performing at CES that year, courtesy of Chesky Records. After the performance they came up to our room to listen to their own high-definition record. They loved the sound and gave us repeated praises. Our sound was unbelievably open and clear, even if we say so ourselves. It was a pleasure to meet the band and spend some time with them.
